Orienteering 43:00 [3] 5.79 km (7:25 / km) +224m 6:13 / km
shoes: Jalas Black (red) 3

BUCS relay on Danefield. Ran JIRC here in 1997! Took the ShUOC men's 5th team first leg map which hadn't been used and ran during the middle of the relay when I wasn't going to affect any of the results. Great to get out and really enjoyed it. Ended up running relatively hard but I was definitely tired! Made one stupid mistake on the third last but clean otherwise.
Fab day from ShUOC: silver in the women's gold and silver in the men's and the overall team trophy in impressive style :-D Especially impressed by the solid performances from the girls (and the second fastest(?) time of the day from Tamsin) and the total dominance in the men's. ShUUUOOOC!

Running 10:00 [1]
shoes: Jalas Black (red) 3

minimal warming up and down today, just enough to wake the legs up. Mainly spectating and cheering.

To the start chatting and reminiscing with Andy Kelly then some extra jogging catching up with Hollie

Orienteering race 59:06 intensity: (29:06 @3) + (30:00 @4) 8.09 km (7:18 / km) +323m 6:05 / km
shoes: Jalas Black (red) 3

BUCS Orienteering guest run on Ilkley Moor. Great fun and great to be back on this area. Didn't quite manage to match the win from last time I was here, was 3 ish mins down on Hollie but ahead of all the students at least :-) Good to be at the start of the 59s, Bex, Charlotte and Lucy were 3 seconds apart in the high 59s! Technically sound race, with one execution wobble on the long leg. Didn't lose much time, just not as fit as I used to be. Really enjoyed it though and it was good to push hard and test myself.

bole hill loop with alex then on down to work. Decided to test out the Broad Lane shower. Difficult and convoluted to find, no mirror and no temperature control but other than that it was ok. Think I might go back to Mappin..
Lovely morning for a jog and great to get out before a long day :-)

Cycling 45:00 intensity: (10:00 @1) + (10:00 @2) + (10:00 @3) + (15:00 @4)

Bonkers Natalie's spin class. She has taken it upon herself to make the class tougher so that it destroys me and Den as well as everyone else :-D Really good session, sweated buckets.

Spin with Pole dancing Eve. Good, tough session this morning with some top tunes :-) I've finally got to the point where I can push my lungs as well as my legs on the bike (mainly by having a high cadence so it's almost like running :-s)
