Orienteering 17:12 [4]
shoes: NB 1062

sprint training from Trondheim spektrum. Felt ok warming up but as soon as i tried to run fast my hamstrings were really tired/sore. must be all that marsh running... fairly easy course and picked all the right routes but no speed in my legs today

Running warm up/down 22:00 [2]

Orienteering 1:13:00 [3]

route choice training on Malvikmarka
13 w/u along the track then helen, hollie, anne and myself did different routes round the course. medium paced so could compare the split times.
going round and sticking to the marshes was generally best for us although the boys found it closer. helen and i ran all the way to 6 although didn't see each other at all after the start!
apart from number 3 i executed all the routes really well and really enjoyed it despite the rainstorm! contemplated doing number 7 aswell but realised i was hungary and tired so didn't - good choice. very tired now, good long training :)
9 w/d back along track.

Orienteering 1:10:00 [2]

middle distance style control pick on Burasen. went really well until 13 where i lost 5 mins. had a good attackpoint but must have been slightly off my bearing and went straight past it. then proceeded to mess up 19 and 20 aswell (3 mins, 3.30) and was happy there were only 21 controls. pleasing start but needed to keep it together a bit longer! good session and running quite well in the terrain. good to train in the different style more scrappy lower slopes.
RPE: 4

Running warm up/down 2:00 [2]

an easier session so used the first couple of controls to warm up instead of making the session too long.

Orienteering intervals (trains) 1:15:00 intensity: (41:00 @2) + (34:00 @5)

w/u 9.37
easy to 3 testing route choices with the other girls (11.00) then hard from 3-8 (12.01), easy to 9 (6.22), hard from 9 straight to 11 and on to 15 (11.42, was first setting off on this one and really happy to run fast and in control), easy with karen and helen to 16 (?? messed up watch!), hard to 22 (9.28? messed up 18 due to misreading map), then easy to 25,26,27, finish. really good session and good way to do the course to practice fast orienteering. definately hard as quite dizzy (and very wet!) by the end!
RPE: 7

Orienteering (Storheia) 2:03:29 [3]

epic training session but really good. bonked a bit in the middle. amazing views from the top of storheia looking over into the embargoed area.
lost quite a bit of time in the wierd vegetation but got better at the end. need more practice in this terrain!

Running warm up/down 12:00 [2]

Orienteering 23:00 [2]
