The sore throat that was threatening all weekend has got worse and coughing lots. Went up to mum and dads for a sleep whilst mum took Mattie for a walk.

Brown Course at Canklow. Enjoyed it but found the hills tough. One small error and one bigger (1 minute). First one was stupid, second I just couldn't get the ground and map to match. Fun.

Park run pushing mattie in the running buggy. Started too far back again and spent the first third dodging people. Need to get there earlier so I can start further forward. Its tough dodging all the time and my shoulders were killing me by the end. Good though.

Hill reps! First time in a very very long time. Chose a shortish session to get back into it. Round to the back of Bole Hill as warm up then 5 x track up with jog down 55, 55, 54, 53, 52.
Concentrated on having good form - knee drive, arm drive and staying tall and felt remarkably good!

Park Run with Mattie in the Chariot. Dad was with us for the first three quarters then we dropped him. Started way too far back and sooo many people to weave around. Managed not to crash into anyone (just). Really fun to do the park run again and planning on doing more of them this year. Dad is keen to do more but I doubt mum will do many others!!
