Boulder Dash Day 2 Green
This was more trail running and I didn't make a big mistake. From 6 to 7 ran the trail and then intended to go back out to the trail from 7 to 8. I never went far enough, but was afraid I had missed it and passed it, so was confused for a while until I hit the stone wall. Then I figured out where I was and attacked from there. So that split was slow. I also messed up at the end going from 12 to 13. I just wanted to get out to the trail quickly and headed due south. When I hit the trail I just started running and missed that there was a trail junction. Went the wrong way heading back toward the start and then figured it out and went back.

Boulder Dash, Day 1 Green.
Yikes! I lost 15 minutes on one control. I started off poorly by not realizing that the streamers to the first control were for everyone and not just for the white course, so I was slower than I should have been. At number six, I came in just below the control but thought I was above, so went down and then had to correct. Also head trouble from seven to eight because I misread up and down. I was convinced I was going east and downhill to the pond until I passed a stream flowing the other way. That made it all make sense. Big muck-up at number 12. I attacked from the trail and thought that I was being careful to approach up the reentrant, but things weren't making sense. I figured I was too far west, so when I started hitting marshes, I corrected by going east. It never managed to make sense and I bailed back to the trail and attacked again from the large boulder. When I finally saw my track I can see that I was actually too far east the entire time. The reentrant I wanted must not have been as obvious as I anticipated.

Great Vermont Corn Maze. We got there toward the end of the day, so they had to give us some hints to help us out. Pretty big, cool maze with some bridges.
