Ran from home up Green Belts to Cecelia up to Contour path Then I tackled Nersary was a little slower than last time, but I did ran hard yesterday. But once on the top I had to fly down the single track to get to church on time...

Woke up to a perfect morning after a week of wind, so on the start line I didn't have any excuses...
I didn't go out hard, but a lot of guys did and I was pulled alone a little fast... Then in the 2nd km it all went but in smoke!!! They sent us round the car park instead of straight out the gate... suddenly I had 30 sec to make up if I wanted to break 34:00 things went well till the last km when I guess they stuffed up again by sending us onto the field instead of keeping us on the track.

Easy run from the club to the lights, didn't feel like the Greek god that I am... felt more like a wounded snail!!!! hope the body enjoys Friday off so it will run like the wind (which has been blowing for weeks) on Saturday.

felt OK very windy, also used the session to test my new trail shoes, because the track is a bit of a trail!!! The Montrail Streak what a great shoe can't wait to race a trail race in them.

Drove out to Ceres and went for a run in the afternoon, was hoping to run up the mountain behind the cotages, but not path, so did a bit of walking before coming down to run a couple km on the flat.

UCT 10km race, ran with Charles and we were the only guy the run the right route!!! no-one else followed me as I turned at the right place. We were racing Roger with his baby jogger, so were please at the 6km mark to pass him as he went long and we turned to run the right route. the detour was about 150-250m long.

4:19 3:42 3:29 3:46 3:54 37:43 to 6km is up hill and we took it easy.
the others didn't see 6km, and Steff ran +_ 8:30 for the 2 km so only lost 30sec.

Ran from Home up the Green Belts to Cecelia through and up to the contor path to Nursery and up 16:38 first time under 17min before taking the short route across the top and the single tracks down.
