Bruce Ridge re-run. Tested 5 of the longer route choice legs - I was quicker on all 5 today, 4 of them by about 10 seconds and one (no. 7) by 1 minute. To 1 - went all the way around this time using the underpass To 6 - used the Belconnen switchback single track instead of the firetrail To 7 - used the firetrail instead of Creek Run To 14 - continued on single track instead of cutting across to the road To 16 - around the hill instead of over (but still kept to the single track: didn't use the shortcut off the firetrail). So inept route choice is still a big issue. Adding the 1:40 to the 2 minutes I lost on 2 is 3:40 lost in mistakes, easily the worst in the top 12 times.
