Teering warm up/down (Metro League) 10:00 [2] 0.5 km (20:00 / km)
weight:73.5kg (sick) shoes: ASICS Gel Nimbus 15 white2

Nurragingy. Putting controls out by noisy car (which started doing the scratchy sound as I parked it at the first stop). Nose has cleared up, but still coughing badly. No chance of running.

So after 4 days on antibiotics for not much improvement I went to get a second opinion. Doc2 summary: "stop those, they are no good. its the flu". Which is what I thought and said to Doc1. Key factors:
* Sudden onset
* Severity
* Chest first then nose (colds are usually the other way around)
* Aches and pains over the whole body
* Fever

Third day on antibiotics (amoxycillin-potassium clavulanate, "Augmentin Duo forte") after the infection struck on Monday. The Doctor was convinced it was bacterial not viral. However there hasn't been much improvement and I'm still generating lots of phlegm. The runny nose has increased over the last few days. I'm no chance of running at Metroleague at this rate of improvement.
