Cycling 48:58 [3] 12.78 mi (3:50 / mi)
ahr:130 max:172 shoes: Trek Domane SL6 Bike

9.25am: 42 degF (wind chill 37) partly cloudy. Cycled the loop and down on trail beyond South St bridge and back via skateboard park. Good to be out.
Great to have Alison and Heather home for Christmas and to celebrate Alison’s birthday today, hence the need for some exercise before cake etc. Bummer that Alison potentially has a stress fracture in her foot as was looking forward to some exercise together even if it meant she had to slow down to my pace. Hopefully we can at least get a bike ride together while she is home.

ahr:142 max:159 shoes: ASICS Gt-200-6

10.00am: On trail above Kelly Drive by John Kelly statue. It had been a long time since I was on this trail and it has been made into a proper trail to the road by Grant statue. Followed road up and by Smith Playground and the new Discovery Center at the reservoir then back via 33rd st and Lloyd Hall. Interesting to do this trail again, but didn’t feel to well. Body drained.

Cycling 2:05:32 [3] 26.69 mi (4:42 / mi)
ahr:145 max:195 rhr:55 slept:7.5 shoes: Bike: Jamis Coda Comp - hybrid

9.42am: Cloudy 33degF. Cyclyed out to far end of Forbidden Drive in the Wissahickon (12.10 miles, 58.55) and back. Train passing blocking the crossing so went on down to train end south of South Street. Nice ride, feet got numb. Icy in only a few spots on Forbidden Drive, not as many as I thought there might be which was good.
