12.20: (actually the return walk) Got spoilt as we planned to go to Hoy Island and walk near where we landed. Turned out there was a bus to Rackwick, so we jumped on. It stopped en route to let us try to see the Sea Eagles. Looking through a rspb telescope I saw the nest but the eagles were away. Hiked out from Rackwick to the Old Man of Hoy. Started raining just as we got there. Spectacular. There were a couple of people climbing it.

The beach got quite rocky in places and hard to navigate in some points. Tried going up above beach and into field, but fence electrified. As started raining and rocks getting slippery we turned back and retraced steps.
