8.50am: Nice sunny day 41degF. Felt better, maybe the 3 pints of Guinness last night out with Kurt and Claire did the trick! Had some nutter in a SUV with Oregon license plate not want to stop at Stop sign on 23rd street, while the adjacent cars did and then on a 'moving stop' proceeded to drive in front of the other cars to go around me crossing the street! So not a case of claiming he didn't see the stop sign. A young guy- definite case where he should just get his license cut up.
Anyway a pleasant run along the river.

9.30am: cold and cloudy 32degF. Thigh muscles very tight despite stretching a lot and using the thumper. Definitely a plod along the river, thank goodness for some good tunes.

9.40am: Cloudy and cool, 41degF. Cycled the loop. Out WRDr 18.46, back KDr 19.08. Kept up a decent steady pace.

Happy at going to see Tony (chiropractor) this afternoon.

10.15am: beautiful sunny day but definitely a drop in the temperature. 37 degF with wind chill of 31deg. Finally had to have some exercise even if slowly. My body has just been a mess all week, tigjt and sore muscles, and generally feeling tired. Hopefully slowly getting back to normal.
Out WRD 21.20, back KDr 19.18

Very frustrated. left calf hurting and body generally badly out of alignment. Carol and I did at least get a walk with Ellie along Forbidden Drive in the Wissahicken.

9.50am: Beautiful Autumn day, sunny, 43 degF, so opted to try a longish. About a mile in my left calf started tightening so stopped and stretched it. Decided to plod on forward. To Strawberyy Mansion Bridge 32.54, over the bridge to Kelly Drive 4.03, back 30.35.
Definitely felt calf tighten more by end.

Good stretch after run, but left calf and hip definitely not good. Guess my stupidity at continuing means no orienteering tomorrow at Mid Atlantic competition. This is very frustrating!

6.20am: In St Petersburg, FL speaking at a conference so managed to squeeze in a short run along the waterfront down to the Dali Museum. A buzz are looking building which one would expect for Dali, but bizarre not necessarily in. Daliesque manner. Anyway good to finally run a bit especially watching the sunrise. A good start to the day.

6.10am: cold 42degF with a fierce wind (wind chill 33degF), not ready for this temp yet. Forgot watch so time an estimate. Out West River Dr, back Kelly Dr. Got to get out.
A milestone point, reached 100 miles on bike. It took 14 or 15 months. To think just before I came to USA I was running a 1000 miles a year, now I am not even cycling a 1000 miles/ year!
Off to St Petersburg FL to speak at Tradelines conference. The cross winds at Philly airport restricted the ability to take off so delayed. When finally did take off it was certainly on of the more bumpy ones.
