7.00pm: Dragon Boat Practice - cold evening, did some good fast pieces and some 5 minutes pieces. For some reason, some folks want to screw around with our start, when the 6-6-6 worked well for us in the past. The proposed 5-10-10 wasn't working out.

9.00am: Thought I'd be ready to have a slow jog, but alas by Boat House row the hamstring started playing up so stopped immediately.
At this rate not sure West Point will be worth it.

Had a pleasant walk around university of Michigan campus with Heather. The business schoolbuilding is pretty interesting design on the exterior, but elements of the intrerior finishes and furnishings - (all black furniture regardless of the setting) give the feel of the grooming of a lot of future pompous investmentbankers !!
Very nice Art Museum on campus with a interesting collection - some fascinating Tiffany doors, railings etc.

Tired so slept pretty well - Body definitely tight, so went for a massage - my body needed it badly especially my neck and lower back.
Carol ran the Edinburgh 1/2 marathon in 2.26 which with the hills she did well.

DVOA Score Event: The Willows and Skunk Hollow Township Park
Heather had a volleyball tournament nearby in Newtown Square, so betwen her games I took off and ran the score event. Got all controls in 36 mins. Nice to get out, and moving pretty good, but orienteering sloppy in some places. Perfect timing as I arrived back at heathers tournament just asthey were warming up for their next game.

5.00pm: Seemed strange out running having already been to Buffalo and back today. Chasing after a project there to revamp their dental school.
Anyway got stuck at the train track, so back tracked and up via the Parkway to the river. Strong head wind on the way out and nice tail wind n the way back. 10.47, 8.01, 4.08, 4.00, 7.51, (0.50 waterstop),7.33

6.45pm: Long day in Baltimore for Heather's volleyball tournament. Needed the chance to get out for a run. Felt good even into a good head wind on the way out along the river. Calf muscle felt it was getting very tight so ended up stopping at Lloyd Hall on the way back.

DVOA Event - WARWICK - Green
Pretty clean run - vegetation still not out so saw most controls before getting into the circle. #8 in a bit early so lost close to a minute. #15 alos in off the path too early, but saw ditch so quickly made adjustment. Fun course and good to get out into the woods.
