Lake Merritt Joggers and Striders 4th Sunday Lake Merritt race. First road race in over 25 years. Set a PR for the course. Only second time I've broken 30 minutes. First 2/3rds of the race went well, as there were others I could pace myself with, but then they pulled ahead and no one around to push me for the last third, so got a little tired and form broke down. Rallied for the last 300 meters or so. Lots of fun.

Walk with Jill around lake, and then down to Chinatown. Had lunch at Phohm Penh. The Oakland Chinatown Streetfest was going on. Blocked off a couple of blocks, had a grandstand with live bands, and multiple food carts. Oakland is a very happening city.
