Parc de la Valmasque. The club added another event, which was nice. It was in Valbonne, only about 45 minutes from Villefranche. I think I have been at this park before, but am not sure. I have an old map of the park, but it doesn't have a course on it.

I did the B course. No big errors. Got tied up in some thick green stuff a couple of times, but otherwise did OK. The park had an extensive trail network, and since so much of the area was green, I used the trails a lot. Just had to be sure I was on the right one.

Actual distance ran 5.6 km.

Legs were a little tired from strength workout yesterday, plus I didn't want to do a hard work out before the O meet tomorrow.

Good workout. Increased weight of bench press slightly.

My weight keeps creeping up. Have gained 2.5kg in the last couple of weeks. Started putting it on when I was sick, but now it still keeps going up. Try to concentrate on portion size, bread and hopefully not get dessert when we go to the next restaurant.

Long walk up the stairs past the Institute to the Col, then east on the Moyen Cornisch to the Leopold path, and back down home. Beautiful day. Nice walk.

My legs were a little achy this morning after my strength workout yesterday, so I wasn't sure I would be able to do a cardio today. I decided to walk to the gym anyway, get on the bike, and if I were too tired, call it a day. However, I managed to do the whole workout, and feel pretty good. Usual workout, warm up, 5 minutes plateau, 4 succesive 1 minute hills, then 3 one minute sprints with a cadence of 120.
