Went for a run down a bit of the ‘Old Bruce hwy’ wondering if it was really no through road for foot traffic. Could probably get through if I was prepared to tackle a bit of long grass and if ore a few signs, but the reward is just getting stuck alongside the current highway, so didn’t seem worth it.
Followed that by taking the wrong road back towards town, but it went in a very similar direction.
The old highway would have been horrific for cyclists- 2 slabs of concrete wide, absolutely no shoulder and looks like it would have been underwater semi-regularly.

Kept things shorter than originally planned as a few bits were a bit tight and sore following Tuesday’s silliness.
Left knee was quite sore today - quads were probably tighter than normal, much like groin etc etc

Very modified session as the track was soggy from a localised storm and the only other bit of campus with lights is a 300 ish strip of bike path (not very even bitumen).

So… 12 x 300m with 30-40ish sec recoveries at a pace of approximately as fast as I could be bothered. Pretty darn hard by the end, trying to chase a couple of guys that are comfortably faster than me at the moment.

One way uphill explains the irregular times.
