Was going to head to the shed for s sweaty hour of steady drudgery when I remembered that a) I am on holidays b) I have a new MTB c) I live right next to a MTB loop
Did that instead. So much fun. Why didn’t I upgrade my bike a long time ago (or buy a better one in the first place).

Similar to last time without the bothersome calf. Tried rolling out and poking calves before run and ran in calf sleeves. Still don’t think they do anything much, but will keep wearing them if my calves keep not hurting.

2nd attempt at a short run. Heels a little sore when starting, but loosened up ok. Right in particular was 100%, right calf tightened a little towards the end.
