Knee still taped from physio. Still some small level of discomfort behind knee, but not bad and felt like finishing off my half hour. Wasn't really getting worse and hard to tell whether it was my leg or the tape pulling at the back that was the issue.

Quads were pretty tight from yesterday's exertions, but that wasn't surprising.

No pain when I stopped in any case. Onwards and upwards.

Physio is convinced that current issues are due to muscle tightness and my patella having stopped tracking properly, rather than anything to do with the 7 week old injury.

She taped my patella up and told me to have a go at running and kicking and see what happened. Got back to school and got an invite to have a kick with the 11/12 PE Studies kids.

Took my opportunity for the most relaxing finish to the work week ever. Had a run around, barefoot, , kicked with both legs, had a few sprints and changes of direction and all seemed to be fine.

Yay.

Another short attempt at running. Felt better than last time, but still not quite right. Discomfort was localised to one spot on the lateral side behind my knee.

Could have kept going longer, but this was enough information to tell the physio at lunch, so decided to play it safe.
