Evening jog from accomodation for work conference, around the actual conference venue and return.
Legs a little weary initially, but felt OK in the second half.

Not expecting to run for te next couple of days.

Unofficial relay run for ADHOC with me doing all 4 legs. Started trying to run a bit quick and was a bit scrappy, including missing one control and then overshooting on the attempted correction after 6 controls. Craig got away there and I gradually got into a more sustainable rhythm running on my own. Also meant I could navigate more cleanly.
Left a few controls in the wrong direction, making some routes a bit wide and don't think I picked good options at times when choosing between trying to go straight or around on tracks.
Finished feeling pretty knackered a couple of minutes behind the winning team in what would have been 3rd.

Token warm up and cool down that was left far too long to be useful.

A run in KP again. Looped around a bit more and did a reasonable uphill stretch on a sand track.
Felt OK cruising, but have a bit of a head cold and I'm not sure I'll have any gears higher than cruise by tomorrow.

Lots of time on my feet today and legs took a little while to start cooperating. Ran with heel raises in for a change and achilles seemed to appreciate it.

Evening jog, in the dark around Kings Park, keeping either to well lit bits, or roads. Forgot ventolin and was a bit wheezy, but otherwise felt pretty good.

Note

Sleepless night, restless day. Finally done and dusted but unlikely to do more training than a couple of bicep curls this evening.
Also worth noting that I've been trying hard to ignore the fact tgat my slight achilles niggles are slowly becoming more significant. Mostly the left (opposite to last time) which is kinda strange. Short runs only this week and see what happens when I try to orienteer on the weekend.
