run 31:53 intensity: (42 @1) + (10:50 @2) + (20:03 @3) + (18 @4) 5.54 km (5:45 / km) +5m 5:44 / km
ahr:141 max:174 shoes: barefoot

Too much data from my new toy...

Short, comfortable (except for the lack of skin on the bottom of my big toe) softish sand run from Pages Beac, around Point Moore and back.

Apparently...

Training Effect: 3.4 (dunno what that means yet)
Average cadence: 167
Average stride length: 1.04m
400 calories

Other things I've learnt so far - more light sleep than deep sleep last night, apparently, my RHR is 36 (seems too low, but possible while sleeping?)

My heart rate ones seem to be very differently defined in AP than on the watch. I like the AP ones more.
So much time to be wasted here...

run 31:20 [3] 6.3 km (4:58 / km)
shoes: Wave Rider 17 Pink 2

Morning jog. Lat one before my real (gps-verified) training starts again. Hurrah.
Felt pretty good with the world other than forgetting to use ventolin before I started and feeling a bit wheezy the whole way.

May not have run for a few days, but at least have been doing a few calf exercises. All felt pretty good today. Will count that as my first three weeks and start gradually introducing some longer runs and some strides into a few easy ones and see how I go.

As awesome as it all looks, don't think I would be enjoying a 23km trail run just yet. Maybe next year...

Note
(rest day)

So- yesterday ended up way busier than I thought, and I just never had the time to get out the door. Today, I had to play a basketball match. Happily, my achilleses didn't object. Think some of my warning signs starting to appear may unfortunately confirm that they are at least partly shoe related. So will be sparing gin my use of the Glycerins from now on and may need to bring the rainbow Mizunos into the mix sooner rather than later.

run 30:48 [3] 6.3 km (4:53 / km)
shoes: Brooks Glycerin 13

Keeping the gap to 1 day. Track starting to soften up a little bit. Running also starting to feel a bit easier. Exams marked and job app delivered, so rest of the week should be manageable.
Only downside is that R heel has been a bit off the last 2 runs.
