Seeing as I'll probably be having a full week off running after this regardless of how I pull up, I decided to ignore the fact that it was really hot and jump up 10 minutes from my last run. Regretted it early as I had a stitch for the first km or so, but then it eased off.
Felt pretty hard coming up the last hill for the pace I was moving, but I guess running that far is (sadly) pretty unfamiliar territory. Achilleses felt pretty good throughout. Slight niggle around the 10 minute mark, but very short lived.
Hooray.
Oh - weekend of moving kitchen into laundry, sleepout into back room, and assorted other housey things (plus the fact I left my bike at school on Friday and had a school ball to attend Friday night) meant no training over the weekend :(
And 7:15am check-in Thursday for thyroid surgery. Hope they don't want me to be sedentary for too long afterwards.
