Pretty cruisy at the start. Tried to keep up with the cars on the downhill stretch on Connolly Drive, but could only manage 60. Back starting to adapt to cycling again, but still a fair way to go.

Didn't do kneehab yesterday. Oops. Monday tried in on a leg press machine. Felt weird and not very helpful. Tuesday did the squats with about 30kg on a bar. Duncan has advised me to do them twice per day. Have yet to find the motivation to get to work earlier.

Regular summer headwind. Blah.
Did squats weighted. Found a different plank so can do it on an incline still.

Feeling pretty knackered from increase in training over the last couple of weeks.

Felt much harder than the speed would suggest. Not surprising really. Quads and back still feeling the effects of last night.

Leg weary, hungry, headwind, got lost in some stupid detour at Moore Drive. So slow. But feel alright now. Got to pass a few people for a change, but they were all old, on commuter bikes or worse, so despite their fancy clothes they don't really count.

First 'real' windtrianer session, under the cover of Tooms' carport in the evening (May have to look back thru my log and change the colour of all my previous windtrainer sessions...)

Bit late starting due to my trainer making dying noises again. Fixed by taking it apart, doing nothing, then screwing it back together.

Small chain pyramid warm-up 7mins
10min effort
2x5min efforts
5 x 1min hard/1min hard spin
5mins single leg pedalling

If I was an ex-triathlete like Tooms, I would put what gears I was using, but I've never looked at how many teeth they have, so I won't.

Got very sweaty. My trainer vibrates a lot and I worked my way backwards off the brick that started under my front whell.

Most of a gym session. Fit-ball wasn't in there, so not as core-focussed as usual.
