Supposedly a 7km race, with k markers and all. Surprised by 'pace' at start, but felt good, so pretty much ignored the watch and just ran. Won comfortably. Amazed at time. Would have been pretty much the best run of my life over that distance. Unfrtunately I got home and measured it on google, and it was well short. (running 3:43's, not 3:30's). Oh well. Still pretty good for where I'm at at the moment.

Out towards Mullewa again. Left just as it started raining and copped a few decent showers. Hands pretty cold by end. Was taking it easy, but still felt pretty empty in last 10km. Guts felt shocking afterwards. Maybe it wasn't Red Rooster

Long run. First half felt super easy, then knee started to hurt. Missed drink refill at 70 min (oops), wind died and it got very humid on the way back. Had to detour past park on way back for a HUGE drink and a carboshot. Felt awful to end and afterwards

Normally have the reset day Friday, but my achilles are the sorest they've been for a few weeks, yesterday was beach carnival for the kiddies and I'm knackered and today is the last day before 2 1/2 weeks off work, so I thought I'd be slack tomorrow and have a slightly later morning run than normal tomorrw. Now just have to wait and see whether I actually do it...

8 x 1km intervals with 200m jog(very slow) recovery. First one was faster than I intended and that's the way it stayed, so I can't complain.

Glad I decided to switch the intervals to Tuesday so I didn't get lazy and skip them again.
