cycle long 2:40:00 [2] 76.0 km (2:06 / km)
shoes: Avanti Blade

Long morning ride. At one point after 30km or so I thought there was something wrong with the bike coz it felt like I was towing an anchor. Turns out I was just going uphill into a headwind :)

Generally felt good, easy apart from getting really hungry near the end

Note

Didn't set alarm this am. Too tired. Almost got out for a ride in the evening, then almost got the exercise bike inside. Ended up just watching sport on telly.

cycle 16:00 [1] 6.2 km (2:35 / km)
shoes: Avanti Blade

Ride to pick up bus for trip to Kalbarri. Was going to ride home too, but got a slow puncture and it was getting late and I was too annoyed with the world to ride home

run 35:30 [2] 7.0 km (5:04 / km)
shoes: adistar control

Had a pretty interrupted night's sleep so ignored the alarm and ran straight to school, cutting out the interval session tat was meant to be in the middle of it.

cycle 18:00 [2] 7.4 km (2:26 / km)
shoes: Avanti Blade

cycle long 1:50:21 [3] 49.5 km (2:14 / km)
shoes: Avanti Blade

Ride out Mullewa rd to lookout then back to Wooree and cut through to school. Thought I would be struggling to make it in time after pushing into a gale the whole way out (averaged 20 for first 25km) but it felt great flying back towards town with the breeze behind.
Right knee a bit sore on medial side of patella from run yesterday...

run long 2:05:20 [2] 26.2 km (4:47 / km)
shoes: adistar control

Long run to school. Unlike 2 weeks ago I made no effort to start faster. Don't know if it was because it was cooler (had to get going quickly to warm up), becasue my achilles weren't real tight so I could stride out from the start, or because I'm coming off a really easy week of training, but today felt really easy.
Started and finished with tight spots in right quad and left hammy, but just felt like I was cruising the whole way. Happy.
Don't feel like such a gumby when I'm running compared to paddle and MTB

cycle 20:00 [3] 7.45 km (2:41 / km)

Ride home into strong headwind

Monday Mar 26, 2007 #

cycle 18:00 [1] 7.6 km (2:22 / km)

MTB into work with Penny's helmet. Went out to garage this morning to find helmet is still in Perth in Tooms' car and bike was already at school...

cycle 22:00 [2] 7.75 km (2:50 / km)

MTB home into strong headwind. Quads still feel tight
