Seeing as I can't run, haven't done anything for 3 weeks and theoretically have a multipsport weekend in 2 weeks, thought it was about time to get the PRS out of semi-retirement. This is the first time I've paddled since Adventurethon 2 years ago. If I do a ride on my MTB in the next 2 weeks, I'll be able to say the same thing about that!
Abs felt fatigued within 5 minutes, and really felt like I stopped moving at all after about half an hour, but as is often the case when I paddle, the pace I was moving didn't seem to change much.
So, I know I can make 8km if I decide to go to Kalbarri and just paddle with Dad, but doing the 16km Ultra will be unpleasant at best. No realt surprises there, I guess.
Dunno what's up with those ridiculous HR readings.
Still sore behind the knee. Mobility has improved, but still hurts to walk. Found out today it also hurts to ride. I dragged my bike indoors and set it up on the windtrainer, but my attempt only lasted 15 seconds before I decided I would be doing far more harm than good.
