pretty tough race at good old wattle ridge. while i took the win i am really disappointed. lots of mistakes, got really fed up out there even though i didn't need to. took about 2 minutes for me to relax at the map change. was not an elite today. wasted day really, could have prepared for next week better by running on mount ainslie.
had a chat Ari Pirroinen (not sure of spelling) after the run, a Finnish bloke in the Bushflyers who grew up around where WOC is.
