TriAdventure - Short (2hr Score) - Cranleigh

Birthday adventure race, run then bike, switch when you want. Mix of muddy trails, fields and lanes. Navigation was easy (and tactics, as maps issued on registration) so just a case of executing pre-planned routes.

I felt good on the run, at a slightly unfamiliar 'race' speed but in a small pack and paced it well saving a bit for the bike leg.

Early mistake getting onto a disused railway from a road bridge crossing but otherwise had a good planned route with climbs on road and downhill in the worst of the very muddy tracks. Could possibly have got one more, back with 5mins to spare. 2nd place by 90" (same points).

Longer lunchtime run out to North Stoke and Ipsden. Feeling good, but hips (flexors) on both sides started to tighten up towards the end. A few sensations in the knee but no pain.
