9:45 group, guest appearance from Bengt Tegner who was a bit frisky up the first section then had that beaten out of him. Nice day, rather gentle trundle out through the hill to Haddington and Bangley Brae. Leaving Prestonpans two wheel touched and a guy went down ahead of me, I just swung out. A bit concussed, and very sore, but after quite a long wait he continued and we trundled even more slowly back into town.

Note

CST final day. Took Jane to the bus, but no prospect of running with this hip and the bus isn't even staying for prize giving I didn't go. Very disappointed.

Note to self. Don't go orienteering on rough areas. 6-day, Harvester, SOL is a pattern developing. One run isn't worth the long subsequent layoff. Looks unlikely that the CompassSport Cup final will be doable this year :(

Sufficiently *ed off from yesterday that I sneaked out for a pre work ride round the seat. Which was duly closed :(. So did a complicated loop out through Musselburgh and Craigmillar instead, which was nice.
