Lead the group out to serveitus st before assuming a mid pack position. Pace was on through cot and did not let up much throughout the ride. Was looking forward to the freeway part where the pace would drop and i could recover. Had a great chat with george and graham up the path unitl the pace kicked in once we were on mts bay rd. Pretty much rd this at 50kph with it winding up to around 53 for the last k or so.

Drive to work was a shitter when a green p plater pulled out in front of me at the narrows roundabout. Managed to hit her fair and square in the back qtr panel as she darted out in front of me. Stupid bloody uni chicks. Made worse by the fact she is of foreign nature. Now i hav a big scrape in my nudge bar and her paintwork over my front bumper

Road Cycling (Floreat renegade) 1:27:00 [4] 46.0 km (1:53 / km)
ahr:156 max:179 shoes: Giant TCR Advanced

Went to bed at 8.30 last night to try and catch up on some sleep in the fleeting chance i might feel refreshed for this morning's ride. No Chance!!

Felt very average approaching the first climb of the day when we went past Newman college. Did a strecth along Challenger and then hung on to cottesloe before having a another crack up front. Floyd (doped up )landis was very spritely this morning as he pounced to close gaps and assert his authority out front!! Meanwhile Jake felt the need to chaeck the corners out carefully to ensure there was no abrasion material lying around.

Andre came through at Leighton to say hi after his long holiday outback.

Out at mosman it was a typical who's going to shut down the leader type stance as we all refused to overtake each other on the climb to the water tower. So funny as noone could be arsed to find the extra bit of motivation or legs to do the job.

My mission for the rest of the ride was to avoid blowing up which once over devil's elbow was looking promising. Good ride through to uwa where i had nothing left to even consider a sprint. Taught Chris some important bike etiquette near Charlie Gardners. Strugglefest after this back to floreat.

MTBO (Goatfarm ex1) 34:22 [3] 5.2 km (6:37 / km)
ahr:153 max:173 slept:7.0 shoes: Specialized Epic Marathon Car

Woke up with a splitting headache but figured 2 tablets and a coke would rectify the situation. Ex 1 had its effect lost a little bit with people piking left right and centre. At least someone was polite enough to text me this morning to let me know.

Made some errors early on and then again towards the end with new tracks and tracks that dont exist anymore causing confusion. Would have helped if i had blown the map up but seeing my racing in a few weeks will be on 1:20000 i didnt want to get out of that zone.

Jen rode well and was making clearer decisions than i whilst Shane made it back in time for the second exercise.

MTBO (Goatfarm ex2) 26:41 [3] 5.1 km (5:14 / km)
ahr:151 max:174 shoes: Specialized Epic Marathon Car

Ex 2 was a quick race with 7 controls taking in the goat farm top if u didnt contour.

Enjoyed this one better as i had ridden some of the tracks by then to make more sense.

Jen beat me on this one but after viewing the video footage the commissaire award Jen a 20min penalty so that even things up!!
10 AM

MTB (Goatfarm Blue Cruiser) 24:41 [4] 5.53 km (4:28 / km)
ahr:152 max:176 shoes: Specialized Epic Marathon Car

Rode with John a lap of the cross country loop (Blue Cruiser). Enjoyed this lap even with it taking us over the back of the goatfarm DH start.
