Weight room workout at Webster Rec. Mostly upper body, some legs.

Tried upping the ratio of running to walking. Started with 2 min / 1 min. That worked for a while, but then I had to back off to 1:45 / 1:15 run/walk.

Sunny, warm, but a stiff breeze out of the SW.

Avg HR is from the Apple watch. I'm skeptical of it, because I took my pulse with 10 seconds of each running interval, and it was never higher than 130 or so.

Warmup, then one game of pickleball, indoors at the Rec Center. It was nice getting out on the court again. But one game was enough.

From Rec Center, after one game of pickleball, and a fairly short weight room workout (mainly arms). Took it easy even by my current lame standards: 1 min run / 1 min walk. I was a little concerned yesterday about my fairly high heart rate given what should have been an easy workout, and also an irregular heartbeat. Today I don't think I went much about 130, and whenever I took my pulse, which was right after each running interval, it was not irregular.

Maple Drive, which was almost totally free of snow except under the Rt 104 bridge. Instead of having target times for how much to run and walk, I had a goal of covering 2 miles (I was slightly under), and told myself I would run as much as possible, not worrying about pace, but walk whenever I felt I needed to.

Distance is what the Apple Watch says. I don't count laps. But the average pace it said I was running seems reasonable, so my guess is that the distance is in the ballpark of being correct.

Multiple laps through the woods at the end of our street, with trailsnail. Partly for the workout (and it was a workout), and partly to pack the trail down fairly smoothly to make dog walking more pleasant in the next few days.

On Maple Drive, from St. Rita's church. Started out running 2 min / walking 1 min but after 2 cycles of that, I realized I would run out of gas pretty fast. Went to 70 sec run / 50 sec walk, then 75/45. Finally, ended up with 2 min of steady running.

Heart rate is from Apple watch. I'm skeptical of an average heart rate of 161 because that is high for me, especially with all of the walking breaks.
