Middle Brown/Green Course at McLaren Park. Walked 75% of the way, but did some easy jogging when I felt OK and the footing was opportune. Lost about 2 min in navigation errors. #2) Climbed too and missed control to the right. Lost 30 sec. #6) Hesitated while I tried to figure out trail network. Lost 15 sec. #9) Drifted left when fooled by unmapped trail. Lost 30 sec. #11) Missed control, on right when I climbed too high. Lost 30 sec. #17) Started to navigate to #2, which was on a direct line from 16-17. A better route choice would have been to the right. Lost 15 sec.

Another wonderful day in BAOC land. Sunny, Temps in the 70's. Great course set by Tapio. So sweet.

Pumped up the tires and tesred the Mtn Bike for the first time in 17 mo. I had stayed away from it because I was afraid of falling. Felt OK, no balance issues. Will ride more when it gets warmer. Maybe this weekend.
