Donauinsel.

Out and back, with a break to swim in the middle. Bit tired from two short nights sleep. Achilles a bit meh too. Still nice to get out and just move the legs.

Not really running much at the moment, a combination of achilles being more sensitive again, not having time/it not being a priority and already doing lots of cycling commuting which is enough physical activity at the moment.

Hirschsee - Bludenz. 7:45 - 15:00.

Long day distance-wise, but felt fine. Wonderful morning, very enjoyable. Slowly peeled off my layers of clothing and gloves as it got warmer. Challenging route through snow gullies, a bit steep in places but nothing undoable.

The part through the bike park not so great, but interesting to see again how cable cars change the character of a mountain and landscape. Happy for the people that can get up and enjoy the views without the effort of climbing up, i guess.

Got a bit tired just after Bürserberg, but then the Schlucht was so nice that i felt energized again. Very busy trail there as well, lots of families.

Tired, sunburned, but very content as i walked through town to the train station :) This made me excited for long-distance hiking again!

Right knee held up fine, noticeable but better than the day before. Other niggles also fine.
