Running 13:38 intensity: (7:00 @1) + (5:58 @2) + (40 @4) 2.38 km (5:44 / km) +3m 5:42 / km
shoes: Inov-8 F-Lite 240

Partly cloudy 24℃.

Warm-up with two accelerations. Stomach a bit annoying.

Running race 11:01 intensity: (2:01 @4) + (9:00 @5) 3.02 km (3:39 / km) +4m 3:37 / km
shoes: Inov-8 F-Lite 240

Wanted to do a fast session, so even though I didn't feel that strong I decided on a lap of the park that I've already run so many times.

55% unpaved small trails or grass;
23% gravel roads;
22% asphalt.

Obstacles: A small overgrown trail with an improvised bridge out of branches, three stiles to step/jump over, a narrow wooden bridge and some curvy trails.

Missed the first small trail cause it's so hidden. Couldn't really push, but speed was not terribly bad. Speeded up at the end to get the average under 3'40"/km. Satisfied with the time on this course, but should be able to get under 11' easily.

Running warm up/down 6:59 [1] 1.0 km (6:58 / km) +1m 6:56 / km
shoes: Inov-8 F-Lite 240

Achilles fine, right calf a bit tight.

Partly cloudy + rain showers 19℃.

Dusted off dad's road bike. Nice tour through the surroundings. Really busy with lots of cyclists, hikers and other vehicles. Around halfway I started feeling some rain drops, and it wasn't until the final two minutes that the rain shower hit me.

Legs feeling ok. Upper body (especially upper back) a bit stiff, probably also because of the go-karting on friday.

Orienteering race 43:04 intensity: (3:04 @3) + (5:00 @4) + (35:00 @5) *** 8.29 km (5:12 / km) +25m 5:07 / km
shoes: Inov-8 Roclite 315

Partly cloudy 22℃.

NZC 1, Houtdorperveld, 7.8km (5'31"/km).
Route.
Splits.

Technically a good race, although the course was really easy. Still missing some sharpness in the navigation I noticed, especially around the trickier bits where I don't really have a structured plan. Physically dying after control 5, but I wasn't the only one I believe... Had lots of fun today, it's still an amazing feeling to run full speed and be in control of the navigation.

2) Didn't quite understand the map here, so ran a bit too far. +15".
3) Hadn't seen the junction of the open areas, and realised a few seconds late that I should be more north. +5".
4) I loved this leg, still feeling fresh and running fast, on the edge of losing control but just keeping ahead of the navigation :)
7) Drifted a bit unintentionally, but by doing so I was able to follow the trail going south for a bit.
10) Detoured on purpose, was tired and didn't see the point in going straight.
12) Felt sloppy, but execution looks good on GPS.
13) Felled areas were a bit confusing and slow, had to relocate off the big open hill just west of the circle. +5".
14) Probably not the fastest route. Faster would be avoiding the felled areas. +10".
17) Straight would've been faster if I'd dared to try it.
18) Nearly lost control, being sloppy on the last part. Took a guess and then spotted the control.
19) North route was faster I think. +5".

Running warm up/down 18:41 intensity: (12:00 @1) + (6:41 @2) 2.55 km (7:19 / km) +18m 7:04 / km
shoes: Inov-8 Roclite 315

Longer cool down with Niels-Peter. Nice chat.

Bit of irritation/blister on the outside of the big toe on the right. Seems that these shoes are good for hiking and running, but not really for orienteering in rougher terrain.

Partly cloudy 19℃.

Easy ride with Tim and Louis. Got a flat tire near the end, fixed it and then just cycled back home.

Cloudy 16℃.

Short easy park run. Wore Roclites to spare achilles a bit. Running felt easy.
