Updated Appin map, right on the edge of town. Good use of a small area by course setter. Pretty happy with run, a few small errors (20-30 secs on 2 and 10) and two largish ones (1 min on 7, 2 mins on 11). Probably also lost some time on creek crossings where I avoided getting wet by taking longer/slower route options.

First time on the new course for me and didn't enjoy the hard road surfaces but very happy with time, especially as it was quite warm. Ran with or near Trent for much of the race and was surprised to see Briohny drop back and run the second half with him. They pulled away from me a little bit over the last km but when I saw I had a chance to go under 50 mins I pushed really hard and almost caught them again. Didn't quite make the 50!
