Note

Golf, monthly medal and an OK effort. Missed a few fairways but scrambled OK except for two holes, both par 4s, where I ran up a 7 and a 9. Finished 4 over my handicap with a net 76 so those 2 holes cost me badly.

Short morning run from home ahead of a busy day that included golf and the NAB Cup game GWS v St Kilda (sorry Stk66, Saints were pretty poor!)

Street and park event in Kooringal. Warm again tonight and lots of hills too. No chance of getting them all this week so opted for the hills as I though they might do me some good! Even ran past the front of our house. Reasonably happy with run although didn't push as hard as last week and was back 2:30 early.

Collected 3 controls after riding Briohny's mountain bike down the track about 500m. Hardly worth logging apart from noting the incident that reminded me why I don't wear hats when bush Orienteering! I got flattened by a low tree branch that I just didn't see over the peak of the hat whilst running downhill back to the bike! Nice little bump on the top of my head and a bit dazed. Back to the sweat bands from now on.
