Orienteering race (NSW SL 1, Lithgow) 1:02:03 [5] **** 4.7 km (13:12 / km) +138m 11:31 / km
spiked:20/21c shoes: Inov8 Oroc 350

Middle Distance race on Gardiners Gap East map. Very physical course but navigation wasn't overly hard for the most part and I spiked all but one of 21. That was #16 and I just lost map contact coming out of 15 and became a little confused by the "big" rock. Sorted it out but lost about 4-5 minutes. My running was very limited due to hammy/sciatic issue so was happy with 2nd place (well behind Eoin!)

Orienteering race (Club) 54:10 [3] *** 6.5 km (8:20 / km)
spiked:11/12c shoes: Salomon Trail

First club bush event for the year, at Pomingalarna. Decided to do the longer course but took it very steady, espically on the uphils where I did lots of walking. Happy with my navigation although shouldn't really make mistakes here as I know the area well.

Forgot my Garmin so distance is a bit of a guess (marked distance was 5.4km) but time is by SI.
