7 AM

Running 48:10 [3] 9.2 km (5:14 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 12

Another morning run in Canberra. Headed out in the opposite direction to yesterday, down to the Lake along the track between State and Capital Circuits. Once across Alexandrina Drive, I headed west along the bike path out to the intersection with Hopetoun Circuit then turned around and ran back the way I had come. Again very nice to out early and enjoyed the run a lot.

Note

Cultural overload today: Renaissance Exhibition at the National Gallery then over to the National Library! Balanced the day nicely however with 18 holes of golf at Gungahlin Lakes with Cameron:-)
7 AM

Running 40:45 [3] 8.0 km (5:06 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 12

In Canberra to see the Renaissance exhibition (and Cameron). Morning run from our hotel in Forrest down through Telopea Park to the Lake then west around the foreshore under both bridges and on past Lennox Gardens. Crossed Alexandrina Dr and then followed the bike path and a single track up to and under State Circle and on around behind Parliament House and finally back down to Canberra Ave and the hotel. Very pleasant morning for a run and felt good the whole way.

Note

3 days in Sydney, Monday playing golf and then 2 days at the Test and 2 of the best we have seen in years! 3rd day was probably as good but unfortunately couldn't stay for Clarke's triple hundred.
