Running race (Road Runners) 22:22 [4] 4.58 km (4:53 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 11 2nd pair

First Roadies run for the new year. Wagga Beach but a new course due to the still high river levels. Wet and slippery underfoot after the overnight rain and very humid although temperature OK due to early start.

Ran with Briohny at a steady pace. She tried to out sprint me at the finish but went too early and I just managed to draw level again on the line!

Cycling 44:10 [3] 15.6 km (2:50 / km)

Afternoon cycle after getting back to town from Griffith. Had been super-humid all day but a wind change brought some relief this afternoon. Pretty wet and muddy out on the Rawlings Pk tracks after the rain.

Note

Wednesday golf: 35 stableford points, poor effort really. 19 on the front then 4 bad holes on the back mixed with 5 pars! Handicap has finally slipped out to 15 after today.

Running 39:53 [3] 7.73 km (5:10 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 11 2nd pair

Early morning run to beat the heat! Lap of the Lake and home via Lansdowne Ave. Bit of a hammy twinge at about the 7km mark so slowed down and just jogged it home.

Running long 1:24:00 [3] 14.3 km (5:52 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 11 2nd pair

First serious long run of the year and a hilly one!. From home thru Tatton and then up along the spine of Willans Hill to Leavenworth Dr, then down and out thru Glenfield to Red Hill Rd, back down to Jubilee Pk and then up to Hill Top and around the back and along the Tatton Ridge track, then a loop back along the lower track and onto the streets and home. Slowish pace mainly due to the hills but felt pretty "good" the whole way.
