Running race (Road Runners) 21:29 [4] 4.4 km (4:53 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 11 2nd pair

Road Runners at Wiradjuri. Because it was so wet (again) the organisers decided it was best not to run the handicap as it would take too long so we just did a mass start. Briohny and I ran together on the short course and it was very muddy and slippery, even on the levee bank (probably would have been better in my Inov8's today!). Despite that, we ran a pretty solid pace and I think I might have pushed her a bit harder than she is used to recently as she did her best time for the distance since her surgery!

Running 39:15 [3] 7.7 km (5:06 / km)

Morning run from home. Usual Lake loop. A little lethargic this morning!

Cycling 42:10 [3] 14.4 km (2:56 / km)

Afternoon cycle. Decided to avoid the rough tracks in Rawlings so did a loop through Springdale and then along Plumpton, Boiling Down and Redbank rds back to the Lake and around the northern end back home.

Running 35:00 [3] 6.7 km (5:13 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 11 2nd pair

Afternoon run in Deniliquin after a day of driving and sitting in meetings. Very sluggish start but got going along the river. Not feeling too strong so cut it short at the end.

Orienteering race 44:35 [5] **** 5.15 km (8:39 / km) +145m 7:35 / km
spiked:8/10c shoes: Inov8 Mudclaw 270

Club event at Connorton. Good to be back out here as we thought we might have lost access to the area! Not surprisingly, very wet under foot and rocks super slippery. Nice course but quite physical in the steeper rocky areas. Long grass also made it harder to spot the many logs and smaller rocks. Overall pretty happy with nav, just a couple of small errors in the circle at 4 and 5.
