Cycling 38:00 [3] 14.0 km (2:43 / km)

Late afternoon ride out through Rawlings Pk to Mitchell Rd then back to Rawlings via Silverwood Rd and home again. Big crowd at the Boat Club - maybe that's the place to be on Friday evenings!

Note

Managed to get on the golf course again today. First Wed comp for almost four months and it showed! Great day though, warm and sunny. At least it was stableford and you could pick up if it was really bad, not like last Sat's Monthly Medal - a long day and got my monies worth!

Running 25:00 [2] 4.0 km (6:15 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel Nimbus 8

Slow afternoon run down to the Boat Club just to get out. Physio yesterday: strapped my knee and also my foot as he thinks I might just be pronating a bit and stressing the knee. Feels a bit odd, a taped orthotic I suppose.

Cycling 28:00 [3] 9.0 km (3:07 / km)

Ride home (into a strong SW wind) from Wagga Beach where the club took part, along with the MTB cub and Bicycling Wagga in a Diabetes Awareness Day, encouraging a healthy lifestyle through active participation. Unfortunately, the cold and bleak weather actively discouraged a big turnout! A bit of interest shown however and a few names to add to the mailing list.

Note

Listened to the Hawks-Bombers game on the Internet this afternoon as it wasn't on tele or ABC regional radio: both Fox and Prime (and ABC) had the Swans game from Canberra and Fox followed up with Perth derby. I thought every game had to be broadcast? Anyway, excellent result with Hawks back on track but have a tough run home.
