In Bourkelands, rescheduled from last week when it was just too hot. Not too bad running today although time was limited to 30 minutes. Achilles felt OK running at a reduced pace following a bit of massage treatment earlier in the afternoon by my Chiropractor! She did however recommend that I see a physio:-)

Morning trail run with Deb (she did 5km) in Bright before coming home. Nice single trail and then fire trails along Morses Creek, out on one side and return on the other. Really enjoyed the run but Achilles has flared up badly afterwards.

Down in Bright for the Aussie Day long weekend so had a crack at their Parkrun. Nice out and back course, slightly up on the way out which meant a steady downhill home! Only my 4th Parkrun but a PB so got to be happy. Achilles was ok but not great and big toe a bit sore.

Visited the Podiatrist for an assessment of my right big toe. Not an ingrown nail but some untidy growth so he gave it a clean up and trim. Pretty tender afterwards so a few days rest ahead.

Slow, hot morning run: Rocky Hill and Kooringal streets loop. Achilles is just OK but having increasing issues with big toe on right foot: sharp pain at outer edge of toenail combined with numbness on the pad of the toe!? And not only whilst running, pretty constant all the time.

Back to running after a few days in Sydney at the Test and playing golf. A very easy-paced run down to the river and return. Walked up the few short, steep rises to make sure I didn't overwork my dodgy Achilles. Great temperature (about 15C) for running but I know that won't last!
