Control placement with two of our juniors at Rowdy Flat and then a short course (walking pace - best way not to make mistakes in this complex terrain!) with another young club member, and finally control collection.

Sprint format at Victory Memorial Gardens. Got the lot in just under 17 minutes. Nice first effort by course setter Darren.

First Roadies run in a few weeks, this month a nice couple of loops down at Flowerdale Lagoon. Steady pace on a nice cool morning ahead of a hot day.

Summer Series in Tatton from Briohny's place. Tried my new shoes out and they failed as I misread the map on the first 2 controls, including a wasted climb up the wrong cul de sac!! After that, the shoes were good and didn't make any more errors:-) Clockwise circuit getting all the 20 and 10 pointers and missing just four 5s, finishing in a 4 way dead heat for 1st on 170.
