Patuxent River Park, MD. I put out controls for the QOC meet that will be held here on March 4th. I felt a bit weak. Part of it might have been eating lunch right before going out but part of it was getting over my recent illness. I noted a few areas where map updates are needed. There was snow and ice on the ground but not as much as in Bethesda. I ran in Goretex hiking shoes, with thermal underwear and a light jacket. It all felt a bit heavy. Spikes would have been nicer on the slopes.

Patuxent River Park, MD. After a Smartzone bar and a drink, I went out to finish putting out the advanced course controls. I knew I was running out of daylight so I hustled a bit. I normally would take longer to verify some of the locations where I put controls but didn't have the luxury. Oddly, I felt better the more I ran. I managed to cross all the streams and stay dry despite the ice melting. I got done just before it got dark.
