Running (Street & Trail Commute) 39:47 [3] 4.9 mi (8:07 / mi) +180m 7:17 / mi
slept:6.0 weight:174.5lbs

From the Woodley Park Metro Station, I ran down into Rock Creek Park, crossed through Dumbarton Oaks to Glover Archbold Park via the Dumbarton Oaks Trail and the Wesley Heights Trail. From there, I ran up the Glover Archbold Trail and out to the Tenleytown Metro Station via Van Ness St. and Wisconsin Ave. I'm not sure when I last ran this but believe I was running slightly quicker today. It was odd seeing the areas without leaves. It seemed like the trails had been moved a bit causing me to make some detours. Also, Glover Archbold Park looks as if it would be horrid for orienteering in the summer but looking at it today, much of it was passable and some of it looked rather nice. The trails were in great condition with no mud and good dirt. This was a hilly route and I didn't feel all that good on the climbs which meant most of the way. Going down I was agile and my steps were rather confident; my knee didn't bug me. The temperatures were in the 50s F. For those curious like Peggy, once in the metro station and car, people did give me a wide berth. The spike in my weight was unexpected but perhaps due to eating late the night before.

Running (Street & Trail) 5:01 [3] 0.72 mi (6:58 / mi)

From the Bethesda Metro Station, Wisconsin Ave. to Highland Ave. to Maple Ave. throught the parking lot, to Maryland Ave. to Rosedale Ave. I was bushed after the earlier run and running up the escalator stairs off the clock. A tailwind helped me get home.
