running 30:10 [3] 6.4 km (4:43 / km)
shoes: Nike zoom flyknit pale grey

Quick run to Regents Park and back.
Drove home from Lyme Regis in terrible conditions, with bucketing rain. The weather cleared not long after getting home, so took the opportunity for a quick run.

Thursday Oct 29, 2020 #

running 42:10 [4] 9.2 km (4:35 / km) +30m 4:31 / km
shoes: Nike zoom flyknit pale grey

Had a busy morning with a couple of phone calls, so delayed until the afternoon. Solid out and back run along the Camel trail from Padstow. No hills today to speak of. The path is on an old train line, so very gentle inclines and nothing of any significance. Was pushing reasonably hard in parts

Wednesday Oct 28, 2020 #

running 34:00 [3] 6.7 km (5:04 / km) +150m 4:34 / km
shoes: Nike zoom flyknit pale grey

Tuesday Oct 27, 2020 #

running 49:10 [3] 10.0 km (4:55 / km) +200m 4:28 / km
shoes: Nike zoom flyknit pale grey

A week away in Devon and Cornwall. Staying at Lynton, which is known for the rugged coast line and steep cliffs. Avoided the worst of the hills around the area, but still a fair bit of climb. Quite a few of the roads feature gradients of 25%.

Sunday Oct 25, 2020 #

running 58:00 [3] 12.0 km (4:50 / km)
shoes: Nike Zoom fly knit grey #2

Figure 8 through Hyde Park and Kensington. Weather was nice when I started, but it started chucking it down at about the 7 k mark. Only lasted for 15 minutes, but that was more than enough.

Thursday Oct 22, 2020 #

running 47:50 [3] 9.6 km (4:59 / km)
shoes: Kayano 26 red

Feeling a bit flat this morning. Gone are the days when I could easily back up for an early morning run after a late evening effort. Another downside of getting older

Wednesday Oct 21, 2020 #

running 34:10 [3] 7.3 km (4:41 / km)
shoes: Nike Zoom fly knit grey #2

It was bucketing down this morning, so rolled over and had an extra hour in bed. Headed out about 5 for a quick loop through Regents Park

Tuesday Oct 20, 2020 #

running 49:30 [3] 10.2 km (4:51 / km)
shoes: Kayano 26 red

Lap of Regents Park outer and inner loop. It was a bit wet overnight so had to dodge a few puddles. Day light saving is nearing the end and I must say it is more than time. It is very dark in the mornings, and not helped by the cloud cover.

Sunday Oct 4, 2020 #

running 24:10 [3] 5.0 km (4:50 / km)

It was hosing down this morning and blowing a gale, so deferred until the late afternoon. This was before and after tempo run.

running tempo 8:50 [4] 2.0 km (4:25 / km)
shoes: Nike Zoom fly knit grey #2

The promenade at Portrush has a marked one km , so did an up and back as a tempo. Time included the u-turn.

Did the GoT scenic tour combined with the Causeway tour. Have never seen an episode of GoT, but having been to a number of the locations will have to watch.

Saturday Oct 3, 2020 #

Having a long weekend in Northern Ireland before everything closes up again. Staying on the north coast in Portrush. Simple run to PortStewart and back. Not particularly imaginative, but served a purpose. It was blowing fairly strongly, but mostly a cross wind.
