running 56:50 [3] 12.2 km (4:40 / km) +200m 4:18 / km
ahr:150 shoes: Brooks Adrenalin ASR

Last run from Dstl. Along the railway line then down to Allington, up the hill to the airfield and then through the fields etc back to Boscomb village before heading back to teh train line and then the office.
Forget what I said on Wednesday about Australia Post it wa far too complmentary. Letter still hadn't arrived by Friday Melbourne time. Thats more than a week. Was absolutely furious after I found out. Then just to make matters worse discovered the relocation agent the AHC employs hadn't done what they should have re us moving out. This only became apparent when I rang to confirm the appointment I had in my diary. "What appointment?" was the reply. Plus they hadn't done any of the things they were supposed to. Did the job for them in 5 minutes, but not happy Jan. Reinforced my low apinion of that sort of consultant. When you ask them the time, they borrow your watch so they can answer.

A very easy run today. Last time with the Thursday group, but the faster types were absent, and only the middle/slower pack turned up.

running 1:00:00 [3] 12.1 km (4:58 / km) +50m 4:51 / km

Gentle evening run.
You have to wonder about Australia Post. Had to send some documents home to arrive before the end of the month. It took from Wednesday evening until Sunday to get from Salisbury UK to Australia, and then from Sunday to Thursday to be delivered in Australia.

Sunday Mar 25, 2012 #

running 1:02:10 [3] 12.4 km (5:01 / km) +100m 4:49 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenalin ASR

Early run. Start of daylight saving so it was cool. Headed out through laver stock and then up through clarendon estate. Lots of wildlife out early, dear, hares, pheasants.

running 47:10 [3] 10.0 km (4:43 / km) +100m 4:30 / km

Another great day for a run. Clear sky, not too hot, and a light breeze. Villages and lower road with the avenue detour on the return.

Thursday Mar 22, 2012 #

running 46:50 [3] 10.0 km (4:41 / km) +120m 4:25 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenalin ASR

Felt pretty good, until the coughing fit after I'd finished. New route taking in East Gomeldon.

Wednesday Mar 21, 2012 #

running 55:00 [3] 11.7 km (4:42 / km) +120m 4:28 / km
shoes: saucony hurricane 13

Feeling better than I did a few days ago, but still not great. Started to struggle over the last km or so, up the slope; and the first 10 minutes after stopping coughing and spluttering.
Great day for a run, sunny with just the right amount of breeze.

THis turned out to be a lot better than I had any right to expect. Felt comfortable the whole way, and not too many coughing fits.

Thursday Mar 15, 2012 #

running 43:00 [3] 8.5 km (5:04 / km) +120m 4:44 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenalin ASR

The achievement for the day was actaully getting out for a run. Spent yesterday suffering from sinus infection, and ended up going to the doctor in the evening. Debated not going out, but decided on something short and slow. Struggled up the hills.

Tuesday Mar 13, 2012 #

running 50:20 [3] 10.4 km (4:50 / km) +180m 4:27 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenalin ASR

Was struggling a bit today. Along the train line, Allington, Boscomb and back. Slowed a lot on the hills.

Monday Mar 12, 2012 #

running 50:20 [3] 10.7 km (4:42 / km) +120m 4:27 / km
shoes: saucony hurricane 13

Basically cruising. Did a couple of efforts.
Eeries sort of day, with a lot of low cloud. There was also quite a bit of helicopter training activity going on, and they would appear out of the mist and then disappear agin.

Sunday Mar 11, 2012 #

running 43:10 [3] 9.2 km (4:42 / km)
shoes: Brooks Adrenalin ASR

Got home from London in time for a run before it got dark. Up along the river and back. An almost ideal day.

running 42:00 [3] 8.4 km (5:00 / km) +100m 4:43 / km

Sunday Mar 4, 2012 #

running 19:00 [3] 4.0 km (4:45 / km) +50m 4:28 / km
shoes: Brooks Adrenalin ASR

Test run. Knee had been feeling OK so decided to give it a try. Started to get sore after a couple of k so pulled the pin and headed back. A lot better than it was so another couple of days hopefully.

Saturday Mar 3, 2012 #

Note

More walking today, then late afternoon flight back to UK

Friday Mar 2, 2012 #

Note

Knee was feeling a bit better this morning, but a couple of days off is probably a good idea.
No runnning, but a fair bit of walking round Coepnhagen. Was up near the mermaid and ac iouple of spanish tourists stopped a jogger to ask directions. He knew his way around, but had Collingwood windbreaker/shower jacket on and an accent to match.

Thursday Mar 1, 2012 #

running 51:00 [3] 10.6 km (4:49 / km) +50m 4:42 / km
shoes: saucony hurricane 13

Reverse of yesterday
Morning at the signature management workshop then afternoon train to Copenhagen

Note

Got back to teh hotel after the meeting and noticed my right knee was sore. Hurt to go up and down the stairs. No real reason, as it was fine this morning running. Not good. Had trouble with stairs at the station in Copenhagen and at the hotel.
