Along the Thames path to Wapping and back. Really nice morning, sunny and bright.
Interesting that between Chelsea and The Tower of London there are 12 bridges, but once you go past the tower there aren’t any for a long long way. Only a couple of tunnels under.

A new pair of Nike zoom fly knits. An interesting shoe, one piece upper that fits like a knitted sock. Very light and very comfortable.

running 1:02:00 [3] 13.0 km (4:46 / km)

Along the south side of the river to tower bridge and then across the river and back. Run back had a bit of zig zag with bits of the bank closed

Friday Feb 15, 2019 #

running 45:30 [3] 9.5 km (4:47 / km)
shoes: Zoom air grey

Regents Park, with a short additional inner loop.
Have now clocked up over 700 k in these shoes, which is really good considering how light they are. Interestingly the outer sole is showing minimal signs of wear which is surprising.

Thursday Feb 14, 2019 #

running 35:00 [3] 7.0 km (5:00 / km)

A loop through Hyde Park. It was cold and clear this morning with a ground mist in the park. A really eerie effect.

Friday Feb 8, 2019 #

Thursday Feb 7, 2019 #

running 53:00 [3] 10.8 km (4:54 / km)
shoes: Kayano 25

Hyde Park run. It is getting warmer, and I have a new understanding of relativity. In Melbourne a 7 or 8 degrees winter day feels relatively cold. In London a 7 or 8 degrees winter day is starting to feel relatively warm.

Wednesday Feb 6, 2019 #

running 46:40 [3] 9.8 km (4:46 / km)
shoes: Zoom air grey

Lap of Regents Park, with an extended run home. No issues with the abductor, so happy.

Monday Feb 4, 2019 #

Exercise session 30:00 [3]

Gym session. Abductors much better, and considered going for a run, but decided on another couple of days tp be on the safe side. Did some squats in the gym without discomfort, so should be right for Wednesday.

Saturday Feb 2, 2019 #

running 12:00 [3] 2.5 km (4:48 / km)
shoes: Zoom air grey

Was feeling a bit tight in the left abductor, but thought I would give it a go. Didn’t free up so pulled the pin early.

Exercise session 20:00 [3]

We have a gym in the building so did upper body and core routine. A case of byo towel, but I don’t think anybody uses it much.

Friday Feb 1, 2019 #

running 41:20 [3] 8.4 km (4:55 / km)
shoes: Zoom air grey

First snow run. On the way home last night it started snowing, and when I woke it was still going lightly, although it was melting quickly once it hit the ground. The upshot was there were lots of puddles, temperature about .05 so feet got wet and cold; and there were areas where the footpath was slippery. The snow coverage/persistence varied from none to a couple of cms. Had to take it carefully in a number of places to avoid sipping and sliding.
