NEOC Wandering, 3 hr on foot. It was such a nice cool, cloudy day that it seemed like the perfect weather to do this event. J-J did the 3 hr on bike, but I'm just not that experienced on bike riding to want to deal with traffic. Went really pretty well and had a lot of fun. If I hadn't gotten caught up with the dog escalation, I might have been able to do a perfect 1000 pts. Completed 13 streets for CityStrides! Control Sequence: 12, 11, 27, 37, 55, 35, 45, 47, 89, 57, 79, 69, 87, 75, 50, 65, 59, 77, 23, 24, 25, 26, 21.

Pepperell Springs Conservation Area, Pepperell. Completed another segment of the Jeff Smith Trail as well as a loop past the Heald Orchard and Pond areas. I'm pretty impressed by the Conservation areas in this town. Pretty rural feel and the gorge of Gulf Brook is quite impressive for being in Middlesex county.

Lunenburg St, Fitchburg, +. Another steamy day so another late night spin though the streets of Fitchburg. Liked the neighborhood better and completed 14 streets. Cool view of the moon rising at the end.

Holman St, Fitchburg, +. Trying to finish up more of the area around Fitchburg State University before the students come back and make the place all busy and stuff. Went out late in the day, hoping to avoid the main issues from Tropical Storm Henri, but it was still drizzling and not really pleasant for most of the walk. Still very humid so was pretty drenched under my rain gear, which makes me wonder why I wear it, if I'm going to be wet anyway? Track was a little off on Rindge so missed some nodes unfortunately. Pain!
