Event: NEOC Earls Trails BYOM

Orange Course, BYOM Townsend State Forest. After a disappointing start last week, I decided to do something that I assumed I could handle by doing Orange. Was still quite a challenge! These controls seemed pretty advanced to me and I almost quit, but continued anyway. Watch stopped at one point, but I realized and got ot going again.

Hazen Rd +, Shirley. A nice long loop on a beautiful day, checking off 7 streets on Citystrides and bringing Shirley over 80%. And I found a lot of trash, + the storybook cottage. Slow per K time due to picking up and sorting trash, but worth it.

Mary Cummings Park in Burlington, MA. We haven't been going to these Thursday night sprints, but this was close and in a park that I had wanted to visit. Was pretty slow, as it wasn't as runnable as I was hoping for a sprint. Still nice and will probably go back. Didn't finish last.
