Skiing 1:16:19 [3] 10.72 mi (7:07 / mi) +1804m 4:40 / mi

Taos Ski Valley, Taos, New Mexico. Something happened to stop my watch just after I had started it in the morning, so all I got was second half, after I took a break. Felt a bit better than yesterday, but not great. Not the best ski conditions. Not sure of the number of runs in the first shift as my phone wasn't tracking correctly either. 5 runs after the break. Total of 9 runs for the day, I believe before I left due to high winds.
6 PM

hiking 21:16 [3] 0.78 mi (27:16 / mi)

Great Sand Dunes National Park, hike across the streambed to the dunes. Heavy wind, and not that much fun getting sand-blasted. On the other hand, how often am I sand-blasted and snow-blasted on the same day?

Skiing 3:16:33 [3] 20.99 mi (9:22 / mi) +3959m 5:54 / mi

Taos Ski Valley. First time skiing at Taos, first time skiing in New Mexico. 12 runs. Altitude got to me pretty quickly, so I didn't ski as long as I had planned to. Getting into a tangle getting off the lift with other skier resulted in a pretty hard fall, hitting my head. But saved by the helmet! Hope we get some snow tonight and I adjust a bit to the altitude by tomorrow.
