Kayaking 1:34:12 [3] 7.92 km (11:54 / km)

On the Nashua River with J-J, from Rt. 119 downstream to the Pepperell Dam. Took our time, explored some bays, saw some blue herons. A beautiful day and very happy I had a chance to get out and enjoy.

walking on road 40:00 [3] 2.64 mi (15:09 / mi)

To and from my parking spot for the fireworks in Acton's Nara Park. Since I don't know Acton very well, I really screwed things up and walked a lot more and drove a lot more than I needed to. But, if I do this again, I'll know.

hiking 1:06:00 [3] 5.11 km (12:55 / km)

Kidder Mountain, which is a side trail off of the Wapack across from Windblown. Nice short hike which fit well between the half-day of work and dinner plans.

Kayaking 1:14:53 [3] 7.6 km (9:51 / km)

Merrimack River from the Tyngsboro Campground to the boat ramp across from Autoliv. Was pretty nervous about this long paddle, especially as we had a time constraint of darkness. But the river is very high with lots of flow and, since it was all downstream, it worked out very well. Turned into a beautiful night with a full moon and Jupiter and Venus behind us.

Note

Another weekend full of un-loggable activity... rain interfered with the hiking and orienteering possibilities...
