Orienteering 3:08:52 [3] 12.5 km (15:07 / km)

Actually a very nice day to run around in the woods. After fearing a 1:15 map in rain, I was so pleased to hear of the 1:10 and Peter Dady did a great job bringing in the sun! I could read the map! Thank you. Was pretty happy how I did, except for the fact that I completely messed up #13, which negated all of the benefit from skipping #12. What a waste. Enjoyed the course from #13 on with Peter Goodwin. Not my best Billygoat, but so proud of Stephen's performance and happy that we could all (J-J, Stephen and I) come home with shirts. All of the Airborne, Vitamin C, hot showers, Sudafed and Ibruprofen actually worked!

Event: Billygoat

Orienteering 25:00 [3]

Walked around Sprint #2 with Stephen picking up controls #2, #3, #6 and #8. Wasn't overly happy with the rain, and encouraged the Trysons to find a "Peter" to handle the weather for Sunday.

walk/jog on trail 1:17:29 [3]

With Stephen and J-J in the Throne Hill Conservation Area in Groton. Ran through the rain storm and enjoyed the forest, but got turned around so that we didn't come out at the same place we went in.

walking on road 13:50 [3]

Stephen and I heading back to the parking lot for the car. J-J ran ahead and gave us a lift back to the car so we didn't have to walk the whole way. An unfortunate ending to a nice run.
